Christine Brown Marries David Woolley: ‘Sister Wives’ Love Story
Christine Brown, known for her role on the reality show “Sister Wives,” has tied the knot with her fiancé David Woolley, marking a new chapter in her life after parting ways with Kody Brown. The 51-year-old TLC star exchanged vows with David in a beautiful ceremony held on October 7 in Moab, Utah, in the presence of over 330 guests, as reported by PEOPLE.
Describing her wedding as a fairytale, Christine expressed her happiness, saying, “It’s everything I never thought I would have. I get to walk down the aisle to David, him just looking at me the way that he does, it’s a dream come true.”
During the ceremony, Christine was accompanied down the aisle by her son, Paedon, and her father. She looked stunning in a white gown from Boda Bridal featuring a plunging neckline adorned with exquisite beading. The couple’s special day was made even more memorable as the Etta James classic “At Last” played during the ceremony.
The day before the wedding, Christine and David, who is 59 years old, commenced their wedding festivities with a dinner cruise along the Colorado River.
Christine’s wedding to David is a significant moment in her life after ending her 27-year-long spiritual marriage with Kody Brown in 2021. The couple, who were part of a polygamous marriage, split, and Christine began a new chapter in her life with David, whom she met on a dating website in 2022. They got engaged in April 2023.
Although it’s unclear whether any of Christine’s former sister wives—Janelle, Meri, and Robyn—attended the wedding, the event was a dream come true for Christine. She shared her desire to have a traditional wedding with all the “bells and whistles.”
Christine and Kody have six children together: Aspyn, 28, Mykelti, 27, Paeden, 25, Gwendlyn, 21, Ysabel, 20, and Truely, 13. David, on the other hand, has eight children from his previous marriage, and he tragically lost his wife in 2012.
Christine has been vocal about her love for David and how different their relationship is compared to her previous marriage with Kody. In September 2023, she expressed her excitement about marrying David on Instagram, highlighting his genuine love and support.
